The first rider who will ride down the ramp to kick things off for the 2026 World Road Championships will be Skye Davidson from Zimbabwe. See all the riders starting and when they are starting with our start times in the link above.

And here is the view from above. Starting just a few hundred metres down the road from the finish, the riders dart around the Saint Lawrence River for the majority of the course.

It is a tricky course to manage. Largely very flat with three time checks along the 39.2km route but the finale adds a climb to the finish in Montreal. This means the riders will have to make sure they have something left in the tank for the final kick to the finish.
